They were Jean-François "Victor Villa-Chavez" Lutz (guitar, vocals), Joachim "Pepito Gonzalez-Puerte"
Correia Gosh Lobo (bass, though ex-Vierges Philippe "Raul Ortiz" Rondeaux played on the 1st EP) &
Olivier "Manuel Concarne-Ortiz" Lubrano (drums).
They got together to play a mix of primitive 50s & 60s instrumental surf rock & roll. Their 1st gig was in
July '95... opening for Dick Dale (not bad). Their last show was with Fortune & Maltese (not bad either).
Olivier was later on in the Thingies after he moved to the South of France for its sunnier weather.

The first time they ever played live in front of an audience was at a party attended by Billy Childish :
upon hearing their version of « Misty
Water », he asked them to produced the recording of this song.
Christian left them in 2/96 because he wasn’t satisfied with the music anymore. He was more interested
in a strict ’67 US acid punk sound : he
found it in Men In The Moon with Alec (of les Ennuis).
The Jerks opened for the Swingin’ Neckbreakers, thee Headcoats, the Zeros and the Kids. They once played
